Traveling through the Florida keys anytime soon? We just traveled to the Keys with our friends Rich and Hillary Froning for a brand retreat. Our four night stay made for the perfect getaway!
Traveling with friends always includes lots of laughs but we wished we had stocked the rental car with snacks and drinks once we landed at the airport because it seemed like eternity to get through traffic and find a place to eat. Note to self: Don’t start the journey hungry!
You must hit the hidden gem called “dry rocks” in key Largo. Gorgeous view and we arrived just in time to watch the sunset beachside. It was the perfect start to our trip.
For a drive through the keys allow plenty of travel time. It’s a two lane highway with lots of stopping and site seeing. I highly recommend you take the journey early for sunrise or during daylight hours to enjoy its beauty.
