Cookeville is the town that neighbors mine, and it has just the cutest locally-owned shops. We visited with just a few of their shops to bring you a Sneak Peek of some of my favorite picks, just in time for Shop Small Saturday tomorrow!
We started our day at Tatum Hill Interiors. Walking into this store smells like heaven. She has the most gorgeous home décor in her store, but the way she has it all put together is just amazing. Tatum offers a full line of design services, including custom work.
We then walked down the street to Pennies Boutique. Girls- this store has some awesome clothing, in a wide variety of sizes, and NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING is over $40!!! Some of the outfits I tried on were perfect for Christmas parties, and they had several stocking stuffer ideas for men and ladies.
Next door is Luxe Boutique. Luxe has some show-stopper pieces that I could not wait to try on. These dresses would be perfect for New Year's parties- this blue dress went home with me!
We walked down to Poppie's Boutique. This store gives off a vibe similar to Anthropology, and I fell in love! The owner designs several of her pieces, and they are awesome! Just walking around this store is so inspiring.
Right down the road is Side Stitch. The owner, Rachel, is the sweetest, and their entire line of athleisure is right up my alley. They have their own line of custom candles, which smell amazing and make great gifts at just $20. And their line of Vada Jane bracelets, handmade by a local artisan, are perfection. I have hardly taken mine off.
After a quick lunch, we headed over to The Painted House. I adore this store, and when it is all decked out for Christmas, I just cannot get enough. They also have several gift ideas for everyone on your list.
Next door, is Painted House's boutique, Curated Threads. It's new and it's amazing! Their Able line is my favorite, and I paired this Able denim jacket with a sequin skirt and LOVED the look!
To wrap up the day, I couldn't think of anywhere better than Ready Set Grow. Their outfits are always my go-to pieces for the kids, and today was no exception. Their Christmas pajamas are softer than anything in my closet, and their coordinating outfits make Christmas pictures a breeze.
We enjoyed our day shopping locally in Cookeville and I cannot thank each of these shops enough for opening their doors to us. Remember girls, Shop Small Saturday is tomorrow and these local businesses have everything you need for Christmas parties and gifting.
