time 4 tea

Today I wanted to throw it back to Anna Berkley's 4th birthday party. She wanted a tea party and had a full list of ideas about colors, outfits, decorations, and food. We invited several close family and friends and we celebrated AB style in our home and I loved decorating and hosting this party. Join us while we re-celebrate Anna Berkey's "Time 4 Tea" Party!

I layered colorful pastel and pink florals, fabrics, dishes, sweets, and treats until tables were full. We hung antique tea cups and saucers with the banners. Some of the fabric we layered was from my bridesmaids' tea my mother hosted for my wedding party.

For food, we served traditional tea room snacks like small sandwiches, chips, and fruit. And what's a party without lots of sweets? There were macaroons, cookies, cakepops, candy, and teacakes. We had pink punch and teas too.

All the little girls enjoyed getting their makeup done and playing dress up. Anna Berkley said that made it fancy like a real tea party.

We enjoyed hosting a house full of some of our favorite people to celebrate our AB! My sweet friend Candice came to town and helped me decorate and then celebrate. I treasure my sweet friends!

All of these sweet girls have grown so much since then, but are you every really too old to have a tea party? When soft pastel colors and layers of pink and frill hold your heart, a tea party is always a good idea!
