I hosted some sweet, local girls for a pre-prom brunch Saturday morning. These girls have been patients of ours for years and it was sweet to watch them grow up, and then to be a small part of celebrating their fun day with them.
I set my dining table with gold striped plates and gold chargers. I used a fun mix of several favorite pieces for the rest of the table-antiquing finds and gifts for the centerpiece, Blue Willow cereal bowls, Jadeite small plates and cakestand, cobalt blue stemmed glasses and matching pitcher for OJ and some serving pieces that are tried- and -true favorites.
I served a quick and easy breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls, biscuits, jelly and Nutella, fruit, and yogurt with granola. A simple brunch menu to whip up!
You don't need a reason to host friends and family in your home. A simple brunch to make someone feel golden is a great, simple way to honor those you care about.
